KLRCA i-Arbitration Rules 2017

The Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) has officially announced the release of its 2017 rules for Islamic Arbitration, that adopt the important changes made to the KLRCA Arbitration Rules 2017.

The recently released rules now include a user-friendly guide. The guide provides definitions of key terms and updates to joinder, consolidation, and the technical review of awards. The purpose of these rules, produced by KLRCA, is to provide a set of arbitration rules that are Shariah compliant and are promoted as complying with international principles of commercial arbitration.

The new KLRCA i-Arbitration Rules came into effect on 9 June 2017.
